About Me
My name is Amy I’m 19 currently working as an Early Years Practitioner in a first school. In the summer I will be leaving my current job to begin my Early Years degree which I will be doing online to allow for flexible working hours. I gained my level 2 early years qualification and completed a placement in a reception class and have since completed my Level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship which allowed me to work in a school with a range of primary aged children full time for 2 years. I am Advanced Paediatric First Aid trained and have a clean divers licence. Prior to starting my apprenticeship I worked as a bar maid/waitress and regularly babysat for a family with children who were aged 12,11,3 and newborn, which often meant having to create activities which engaged all four children at once (really good at multitasking)
My Experience
Over the last 3 years I have had lots of experience working with children of all ages in different settings. I have experience working in a reception class and have gained valuable insight into teaching methods and how to effectively support children’s learning and development. My experience in early years has allowed me to further extend my knowledge and see first hand how influential adults are in creating a safe space for children to grow and develop. I believe these skills are transferable into the home setting as I believe that children are constantly learning and are happiest when they feel safe.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 2 Childcare qualification as part of that I carried out a placement in a Reception class. I have a level 3 Early Years Educator qualification which I gained through an apprenticeship that allowed me to work in a Nursery and a Reception class full time for 2 years.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday early morning till late evening and occasional weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
My fees will depend on the work required however minimum I would expect is £12 per hour.
