About Me
Experienced babysitter available for school holidays, evenings and weekends, I am fun, friendly, child focused, creative, wide range of experience with children including children with additional needs and disabilities, Autism experience and training and also a Makaton Local tutor and baby signing tutor. I love to build relationships with children and help them to develop to their full potential through play and a wide range of experiences in the community. I believe in building long term relationships with families as this is vital for a child to feel safe and secure. Mum and bonus Mum to 3 gorgeous children (9, 13, 16).
My Experience
I am an NNEB Nursery Nurse and have been a nanny and personal assistant to a young lady with Autism and learning needs for over 30 years. I have run my own preschool group and play schemes for children with disabilities including supporting children with nasogastric tubes and gastrostomy tubes and have a wide range of experiences with children who have communication difficulties. I am a qualified Makaton Tutor and Baby Signing Tutor.
My Qualifications
NNEB and NVQ Childcare and Education, Advanced Diploma in Nursery Nursing. Certificate in Autism. Makaton tutor.
My Availability
I am available for regular and one off babysitting roles, school holidays and evenings as I start a new job in a school as a TA in September.

Michelle looked after my two boys, aged 2 and half and 1 year old last week at short notice for a few days. I was a bit nervous as my eldest especially can take a while to get used to new people. However, Michelle was brilliant with them both, they were at ease with her in no time and they had a wonderful few days with her. I would absolutely recommend her as a babysitter, she is great with children.
