About Me
Hi, I'm Amelia! I’m 25, and a recent graduate looking to help some families in my free time, I've been in London for two years and am very familiar with the areas, although I currently reside in Wandsworth. I am a very patient, flexible, and easygoing person and when I care for children, I try to be very creative and fun, to keep them off electronics and using their creativity and imagination.
I use my child psychology background and follow a "gentle parenting" approach where I try to reason, understand, and empathize with children first. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a MSc in Women’s Health, a Birth and Postnatal Doula certification, and I am EMT trained with ambulance experience in the US - making me CPR/AED and first aid trained as well.
I have interests in cooking, nutrition, nature, meditation, creative arts, and I love to go for long walks in all the London parks and spend a lot of my time outdoors! I am half American and half Danish and lived in Europe as a child and outside New York for the rest of my life before moving to London to study at UCL.

My Experience
I’ve been babysitting/nannying/helping kids for over 9 years now and I love it! I can help with many needs varying from light schoolwork/tutoring, running errands as needed (I do not have a car), cooking and preparing meals, nutrition, light house tasks related to children, taking the kids to fun outings, etc. I can also help with specific kinds of children needing more focused care with my experience in psychology, just let me know!
