About Me
I am looking for a nanny for a Primary school aged child on behalf of her parents.
My Requirements
I am looking for a nanny for afternoons and until 7pm or 8 pm in the evening, Mon-Fri.
The nanny needs to have experience of working with children with additional needs, be DBS checked and have good references.
The child has autism with limited communication skills and is unable to occupy her time well. This can sometimes cause her to become upset but the nanny working with her will be given specific strategies for dealing with this.
The nanny would be responsible for taking the child to local parks and playgrounds and engaging her at home with toys and learning activities.
The role would be 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) with core hours from 3:30pm to 7pm or 8pm (after school). However we can extend these hours to start earlier to allow for up to 30hrs of work each week. The role would involve playing/ supporting the child once she returns from school. Any additional hours before she returns from school would be used to prepare resources/ plan activities and do some light housework duties.
