Maths has always been a passion of mine. I love the challenge of solving problems and the satisfaction that comes with finding solutions.
As a primary school teacher, I am deeply fulfilled by the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives. Witnessing their growth in confidence and watching them overcome challenges brings me immense joy and fulfillment.
My Experience
Having studied and attained a QTS and PGCE with the Sutton SCITT teacher training in 2019, I am qualified to teach and work with children ages 4 to 11. Throughout my five years as a primary school teacher, I have taught in years 3, 4 and 5. I enjoy teaching maths and helping children to become confident in the subject. I believe with the right support and help, every child has the ability to excel. I am highly skilled in developing engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners. I work closely with each student to understand their unique learning style and tailor my approach to ensure that they receive the support they need to succeed. Whether it is building foundational skills in maths and literacy or preparing students for the next stage of their academic learning. I am dedicated to providing students with the support they need to thrive academically and personally. Alongside teaching, I have tutoring experience and I am currently undertaking a course to become a SENCO (special educational needs coordinator).
My Qualifications
I hold a qualified teacher status (QTS) and a postgraduate certificate in eduction (PGCE).
My Availability
I can tutor twice a week for an hour.
