Hi! My name is Katy and I’m 22 years old.
I’m a friendly and caring person. I have over 7 years experience of childcare, as a babysitter and in a preschool.
I pride myself on being reliable and punctual. I’m creative and enjoy organising arts & crafts activities as well as baking, walking and playing.
In my spare time I like to go to the cinema, read books, and walk my dog along the beach.
My Experience
I have experience working for a preschool in Weymouth as a relief childcare assistant, taking care of children from the ages of 2 to 5.
In this role, I worked hard to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for the children. I kept records of incidents/accidents, and communicated these to the parents.
I encouraged children enjoy learning/playing with age-appropriate books or activities. I maintained a clean and organised environment at all times, being proactive in disinfecting toys, wiping down surfaces and tidying.
I babysat for the same family for over 7 years! I cared for three children, one from a newborn until she was 5 years old. ?? I also tutored their 7 year old in maths, literacy and reading - happy to help out with this if needed.
They recently moved away so now I am looking forward to finding my next family!
