Baking is one of my favourite hobbies. I find it therapeutic, I am always glad to bake something for the children, preferably healthy yet delicious treats, and doing it together is definitely fun and quite messy! I should say that I'm not the best, but I love trying!
My Experience
I have been in childcare for 5 years, withing private families and also experienced within a nursery setting. I enjoy using some Montessori techniques to foster independence and creativity in kids. I believe children learn best through play and exploration, so I love spending time outside, whether it’s visiting parks, going for walks, or exploring nearby spots. Of course, I ensure they’re well fed and ready for any adventure. But if staying home is more your style for babysitting, I’m happy with that too!
I understand every child is unique, just like us! So I’m flexible and can follow their cues or stick to a set schedule if that works better for your family. My goal is to make the most of our time together, creating fun, learning experiences indoors or outdoors.
I’ve cared for children of all ages, always tailoring activities to support their growth. I also love preparing healthy meals that kids can enjoy.
I’m currently looking for part-time or full-time roles, transitioning from my current nursery position to something closer to home. I’m happy to provide my DBS, CV, references, and Paediatric First Aid upon request.
