About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a Level 2 Certificate in Caring for Children and Young People.

I offer a home-from-home setting, and the core of my approach is play-based learning. I inspire children to immerse themselves in imaginative play, tackle problem-solving challenges, explore nature, and connect with the outdoors.

Imagine setting up obstacle courses, enjoying free play with various toys, and creating imaginative outdoor play zones. The large front room includes dedicated playstations, thoughtfully separated from the main living area. This space features a children’s kitchen, a delightful arts and crafts station, a cosy chill-out corner with a teepee, a sit station, an array of books and puzzles, and much more. These components ignite creativity, spark imagination, and encourage role play, making learning effective but also enjoyable and engaging. With a rotation of toys, your child will always have something different to play with and learn from. They will also participate in regular trips out playgroups, soft play and the park, feeding wildlife and exploring the world.

Having spent three years managing allergies and preventing food contamination and over 18 years of parenting experience, I can confidently promise that your child will enjoy a safe and engaging learning experience in a nurturing environment.
