About Me
I have been in childcare for over 13 years. I have a relaxed and flexible approach while still following the Early Years Foundation stage as required by Ofsted.
A typical day could be out and about exploring, playgroups, the park, the library, soft play areas and also swimming if i have a child on a one to one basis.
My Experience
I am Ofsted registered and have recently been re-inspected(Jan 2024) with a Good rating in all areas. I have experience of working with newborns and all the way through the various ages up to around 12/13. I have some experience of working with children with SEND and have completed some training in this area.
I am fully up to date with all the requirements that Ofsted ask for.
My Qualifications
I am fully qualified in childcare, having completed the Early Years Common Induction Standards Programme and completed a reflective learning log in 2011. I have a paediatric First Aid qualification, most recently completed in August 2023, fully Enhanced DBS checked, and continue to complete learning modules to assist in my own professional development, safeguarding, developing childrens learning, working with children with SEND, just some of these modules.
My Availability
Generally between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Thursday with some flexibility if needed.
