My Ethos
I incorporate some Montessori and the curiosity approach while following the eyfs curriculum.
I want to venture on days out when possible and luckily there are so many places around Torquay it’s such a great place to be a childminder.
Food and Pets
I was previously a chef for 5 years so have prepared a menu for the children’s meals.
I will do pack lunches for days out.
We have a giant pet African land snail which is great for handling and feeding.
The Setting
We have a playroom which is specially designed just for the children I childmind. Filled with educational, Montessori, creative and fun activities. We have a lovely outdoor space which is inclosed and has thick soft fake grass for little ones to be able to crawl.
Fun Stuff
I also run a business that makes playdough and loose part play pieces called Bees Busy Boxes.
I also used to run a face painting business and entertained at children’s birthday parties. I also do the Torquays Easter bunny!
