About Me
Hi my name is Natasha, I have always loved working with kids from a young age and have always been told I am natural with them. I am very nurturing, compassionate along with fun and energetic. As well as assisting in a nursery which you can view from my experience below I have also taught dance classes for several years from the ages 5 onwards.
My Experience
SEN Teaching Assistant – Talbot Specialist School June – July 2022
As a volunteer at Talbot School, I was able to gain valuable experience supporting young adults learning, aged between 15 – 16 years. My role involved supporting learning linked to daily subjects.
I would support with reading, writing, punctuation and grammar, as well as encouraging confidence and independence in learning.
Nursery Assistant – April 2022 – August 2022
As a nursery assistant, my role involved supporting the daily care routines of babies and children aged 6 months to 5 years.
My daily tasks would involve, welcoming children at the start of their session, supporting snack and meal times, conducting group activities as well as supporting individual children through adult led activities. Activities such as craft, mark making, sensory, imaginative and role play. I would support children with toileting and handwashing throughout the day. I would supervise garden time and risk asses to ensure safety was maintained at all times.
I also built strong relationships with parents and was able to give feedback regarding their child`s session at the end of each day.
