Hello I'm Caroline,
Mum to three grown up daughters. I bought up my family homeschooling & attending small nurseries & schools. I have a child centred pace to learning to most support them.
I see that children take in & absorb the things we do & learn by our example.
I have been an English teacher to monks in India where I practiced meditation & mindfulness that has given me a foundational calmness.
I have a holistic approach to life & have a strong connection to Nature that I love to engage children in.
I love easy healthy cooking & baking.
I'm happy to tidy up & carry out child related chores & help with homework & arts & crafts or to go to after school clubs. I have a full driving licence to drive myvown car. I look forward to supporting you & you children & to enjoy our time together.
My Experience
I have previously worked for a childminding agency based in Baker St when I lived in London & cared for children from newborn on a add hock basis. More reciently I was a companion carer for a private agency in Old Amersham for older people which I greatly enjoyed. I also held a Support Worker role for 3 young women with learning difficulties for Mencap based in a shared home environment in Amersham.
Most of my in deapth experience with children has come as a parent having awareness of children's developmental stages & encouraging them within their capasity as they grow & change.
I mainly homeschooled my girls up to 10 years old & was closely involved with other homeschooling families teaching our children Co operatively with our own skills. I'm kind & patient & always intend for children to feel relaxed, seen & heard to develop their emotional intelligence & have fun :)
My Qualifications
I bought up my three daughters & homeschooled them with a high level of emotional attunement.
I studied both Montessori & Steiner approaches to learning & have a child centered perspective of how to meet children's needs. I have a councelling qualification & many Energy Healing qualifications such as Reiki. I'm currently developing Online Mentoring Services.
I went to Bucks New University BNU for my degree studies in film & drama some years, ago.
