Hello!
My name is Kizzie and I am a 30 year old woman from Fenton available for babysitting jobs and part time nannying positions within the Lincoln/Gainsborough and surrounding areas. I currently work for an education agency as a cover supervisor/teaching assistant in both primary and secondary schools and I also have previous experience working in a nursery school setting. I am fully DBS checked and and can provide evidence of this, and I have recently completed my safeguarding and prevent training as required by the education agenc. I was until recently completing my PGCE to become a qualified secondary school teacher of science however due to circumstances outside of my control I have had to defer this until September 2025 hence my new availability to work.
My Experience
I have previously worked in a nursery school one afternoon each week for an academic year whilst in college completing my level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
I currently work on an ad-hoc basis for an education agency as a teaching assistant/cover supervisor for both primary and secondary schools in the local area, and up until recently was studying to complete my PGCE to become a qualified secondary school teacher, and will be re-taking up my place on the course in September 2025.
I also work each summer as a residential supervisor looking after children aged 11-18 on residential courses across the UK in a role I’ve had since 2017 and as part of this role I am required to complete annual refresher training on looking after children who are on the Autism/ASD spectrum.
I am experienced in looking after babies from being newborns right across to high school pupils and this includes children with additional needs such as SEN needs and medical beds too. I did complete my level 1 qualification in British Sign Language whilst studying at college and also know and have experience of using makaton and other communication resources such as language boards to help children communicate their needs.
My Qualifications
Ba (Hons) undergraduate degree - 2:1 classification.
Level 3 BTEC in Health & Social Care
Level 1 NVQ equivalent in British Sign Language (BSL)
Safeguarding and prevent trained.
My Availability
I am available most evenings for babysitting services, and can be flexible with my availability for nannying services during the daytime/evenings as I can schedule my agency work around any potential nannying requirements.
I hold a full clean drivers license and have valid comprehensive insurance, I am just awaiting a new vehicle to get back on the road.
