My Summary
About Me
I'm a 22-year-old who is currently working in an Early Years Centre in Cambridge. I have been working here for 5 and a half years and have worked with children from ages 1 to 4 Years old within this time. For the last 4 years I have been working predominantly in the
1-year-old room and have been room leader for the last year. I love working within Early years as I believe the experiences that children have are so important and I am very passionate about being able to provide a nurturing environment to support their learning and development. I have worked with children since I was 15 when I began volunteering in an after-school club and then went on to volunteer at a Nursery and a Primary School supporting a teacher in the reception class. I have gained a lot of experience during these roles including being able to connect with children on a personal level considering their ages, stages and individual needs. I am now looking to connect with a family as a Nanny, supporting both the Parents/Carers and Children with their day to day needs and responsibilities. Becoming a Nanny is something I have considered doing for a long time after helping two different families since 2020 with childcare: looking after their children both in their home and taking them on days out too. I believe I am a reliable, dedicated and nurturing person who has knowledge in child development, age-appropriate activities, behaviour strategies and promoting
development. I am very excited about this next chapter in my life and the opportunity to connect with a family and be able to make a positive impact on their development and learning. I love spending time outdoors within the natural environment and believe these experiences are extremely important for children too! In my spare time l spend time walking my dog and spending quality time with the people closest to me.
