About Me
I'm a 23-year-old who is currently working in a Private School in Cambridge. I have been working in Early Years for 6 years and have worked with children from ages 1 to 5 years old within this time. For the last 4 years I was working predominantly with 1 year olds but am now working as a TA in reception. I love working within Early years as I believe the experiences that children have are so important and I am very passionate about being able to provide a nurturing environment to support their learning and development. I have worked with children since I was 15 when I began volunteering in an after-school club and then went on to volunteer at a Nursery and a Primary School supporting a teacher in the reception class. I have gained a lot of experience during these roles including being able to connect with children on a personal level considering their ages, stages and individual needs. I am now looking for extra work as a babysitter or to provide extra support to parents/families. I have supported several families with babysitting over the last 4 years; looking after their children both in their home and taking them out too. I believe I am a reliable, dedicated and nurturing person who has knowledge in child development, age-appropriate activities, behaviour strategies and promoting development.
