About Me
Hello, my name is Jordan and I am a 26 year old Early Years Educator. I have a level 2 in childcare, Level 3 Paediatric first aid, and a Childminding and Safeguarding course which I have done through the council.
I have had lots of experience with children from 0 - 11 as my mum was a childminder growing up from early toddlerhood until I left home at 18. I have of course in this time, learnt a great amount about kids behaviour, personalities and overall understand babies, toddlers and children very well.
I follow each aspect of the EYFS curriculum. From using different variations of sensory items, logical-thinking toys and creating art.
My setting is a “home from home”. We have a comfy reading corner with lots of books to choose from. Kids table and chairs for artwork, a large amount of toys, toddler kitchen and a tonies box which the children can listen to stories on.
Within the space I have made safety a priority, with safety gates at any stairs, latches on cupboards etc. I do also have high chairs, cots and other essentials which are necessary for a little one.

I currently live in a maisonette in central Hove, Poets Corner.
