About Me
Hello! I have tutored a range of KS1 and 2 students, primarily focusing on English and Maths. However, I can support your child with any primary subject and, as a qualified teacher, have a broad knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum. I have a proven track record of helping children make excellent progress in their learning, assessments and exams. All my tutoring sessions are both engaging and rewarding and adapted to the children's needs. I am patient and caring and I am always willing to go the extra mile to help my students grow in confidence and understanding.
My Experience
I am a primary school teacher in Manchester. I am currently teaching Year 5, and have previously worked as a residential support worker for children with special needs. Alongside this, I have worked as a private tutor since 2020, accumulating tutoring experience in KS1 and KS2 subjects, as well as 11+ preparation.
In June 2019, I completed a BA degree in Drama from the University of Manchester. Following this, I proceeded to begin my teacher training and graduated with a Primary PGCE. I have been teaching ever since.
