Hello! I’m a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher based in Manchester. I’m currently on maternity leave, which means I have more flexibility during the day to support your child’s learning through one-to-one tutoring.
Whether your child needs to boost their confidence, improve their grades, or prepare for entrance exams, I’ll tailor each session to meet their individual goals. I’m friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping children succeed.
My Experience
Since 2020, I’ve worked as a private tutor, helping children across Key Stages 1 and 2 to build confidence and achieve fantastic academic progress – especially in English, Maths, and 11+ exam preparation. I also bring specialist experience in supporting children with additional needs, having previously worked as a residential support worker for children with SEND.
I hold a Primary PGCE and a BA in Drama from the University of Manchester. My background in both education and the arts allows me to deliver lessons that are not only educational, but also highly engaging and personalised to each child’s interests and learning style.
I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am trained in safeguarding, so you can feel confident your child is in safe hands. I provide all learning materials and tailor each session to your child’s pace and preferred learning style. I also offer a free initial consultation to discuss your goals and see how we can work together to support your child’s progress.
