My Experience

I have all relevant qualifications in place, from safeguarding and prevent certifications, certificate in the EYFS and paediatric first aid. I have a CPD programme in place, in which I complete a new qualification related to the EYFS every month - all aimed at ensuring my paedagogy stays at the very highest level for your babies and young children.

Throughout my educational career, I have worked extensively with young people from diverse backgrounds, aiding in early stages of literacy and numeracy, creating fun experiential learning opportunities for them to really shine. I just love working with young people, teaching them about the world and helping them to find their own feet and voice - it's the most enriching job there is (in my opinion).

Prior to my transition into childminding, I worked as the director of a postgraduate programme in cultural heritage and archaeology, the Head of A Levels at a busy FE provision, City Council educational programme developer and as a field and underwater archaeologist (not all at once though). I take education and attention to detail seriously, having completed 4-postgraduate degrees altogether for my own career and personal enrichment.

I have a full CV of experience that parents are welcome to have a copy of, and my qualifications are included in each family welcome pack.

My Qualifications

I have 15 years of experience in a wide range of age levels from preschool to postgraduate level. I have current certificates (Level 1) in EYFS, Food Hygiene, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Prevent and much more... Please ask for a full copy of qualifications.

My Availability

I am available to start minding your child in the new year, with flexibility around days and times. Children may begin as early as is required to suit busy, and often difficult, family schedules and my day generally ends at 6pm so I can look after my own children. My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Childminding from £9.00 per hour

My fees are designed to be inclusive and no-nonsense, with the guess work taken out of childminding and nursery fees. My hourly rate, chargeable on a half-day or full-day basis (full days receive a 5% discount; full weeks receive a 10% discount), includes all plant-based meals and snacks, daily outings and activities, bibs, aprons, protective barriers, and plant-based milk. It does not include nappies or wipes.
