About Me
ACCEPTING FULL TIME (30-50 hrs) CHILDMINDING INQUIRES FOR JANUARY 2026.
I’ve been in the childcare industry for 20 years as a nanny, family assistant and maternity nurse, and now as a childminder. I have a great deal of experience with children in the early years; from prenatal support for expectant parents, to post natal safe sleep, lactation support, to getting into a good routine and setting up a solid foundation of care for your little ones. I believe in play for learning above all; knowing that children thrive on routines they can count on and respect from their caregivers.
I have a Masters in Education, am a Newborn Care Specialist, a Maternity Nurse, Kids nutrition specialist, and have completed a plethora of trainings related to child behavior and development. I am also the author of 2 children's books, as well as "Confidence, Comfort, Challenge: A parents guide to early learning at home".
I am currently in the process of registering with OFSTED to begin childminding in Whitstable, Kent. In the meantime I will be available for temporary roles and ad hoc childcare in the Whitstable area from July 2025. My childminding setting should be open by January/February 2026 if you would like to inquire about waiting lists and spaces.

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (net)
Ad Hoc childcare/babysitting:
£13/hr one child
+£3/hr each additional child
Childminding rates:
£7/hour (Full days- 8am to 6pm) includes 2 snacks.
Funding accepted for 9 mo+ and 2 year olds.
