About Me
I grew up and live in Edinburgh as well as Glasgow during term time to study an BA in Acting at RCS. Acting has always been a massive passion of mine as it allows me to experience different lives and careers in one lifetime. I also have a huge interest in sociology and how people interact with one another which is a large part of what I study in my course. Before moving here, I set up a small production company where I put on two shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This was a hugely valuable experience for me as I not only learnt how to run a team but to multitask and stay calm under stressful circumstances. In addition, I was a nanny for two years. Looking after two young girls aged 2 and 5 til they were 4 and 7. I would also occasionally babysit for the same family and my neighbours.
My Experience
My Nannying job involved picking them up from school/nursery, helping with homework, playing with them, cooking them dinner etc. I worked three afternoons a week.
When babysitting, I would often make dinner, play with the children and get them settled for bedtime, before getting them to bed for the agreed time with the parents. Then make sure the house is nice and tidy.
I have also done some volunteer work with primary schools while I was in high school. I was a playground assistant, mainly looking out for children in Primary 6 (aged roughly 10/11). I was commended for my engagement with them with one of the permanent playground assistants noting I made an effort to get to know the kids and get involved in their games.
I also volunteered at the schools after school club and looked after a range of ages from Nursery to Primary 5.
My Qualifications
I do not have any childcare specific qualifications. Outside of that I am currently working on my Bachelors Degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have also worked as a Nanny for a family from 2021-2023, as well as being a playground, drama class and after school club assistant at George Heriots School.
I have also worked as a babysitter.
My Availability
I am available most days over summer and can be flexible with my schedule. This starts from July 1st to September 15th. I am happy to discuss doing a few overnights as well.

- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
My fees are based off of the rates I have been paid in previous childcare jobs as well as the average hourly rate of pay in the UK. However I am happy to discuss this.
