Hello, Lovely Bristol families!
I am Amylda Lisa, a 22-year-old international student from Malaysia. I am excited to join a new family as an au pair starting this October 2024. I am looking forward to being back in the vibrant city of Bristol!
I am a returning student who previously lived in the lovely areas of Clifton and Hotwells, as I studied in University if Bristol, so I am familiar with the city and its charm. (and the hills of course!)
A little about me:
1. I am the eldest of six siblings, so I have plenty of experience working with children - helping with homework, managing routines and being a supportive presence in their daily lives.
2. I am also reliable in completing the house chores - cleaning, laundry and cooking.
3. Fun fact, I ran a small takeaway business when I previously lived in Bristol to support myself, so I can whip up a variety of meals especially Southeast Asian's !
4. Oh, and I love cats as well!
5. I have worked with Bristol Hub as a Teaching Assitant Volunteer for around 2 months.

My Experience
I have worked with NGOs in education, girls and young women empowerment back in my country and with BristolHub as a teaching assistant for a month.
My Qualifications
I am an undergraduate student at University of Bristol and I don't have any specific qualifications for childcare work. However, I do have a DBS Check certificate dated on December 2022 as a Teaching Assistant Volunteer.
