Hi, my name is Lana,

I’d describe myself to be a very patient and loving person, always ensuring that children's needs are heard and validated. I prioritise encouraging each child's individuality and unique interests, supporting them in developing learning skills, speech, language, and writing. My approach includes fostering a strong connection with nature, believing that there is much to learn from our surroundings. I aim to create a positive experience for children, associating care and learning with enjoyment and growth.

The activities I plan are varied and tailored to the children's interests and needs.

My goal is to provide a nurturing environment where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn and grow.

My Experience

I come from a big family, which has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the joys and challenges of caring for children from a young age. My journey in child care began with extensive volunteer work across Asia, where I taught English in local orphanages and schools. This experience allowed me to develop a rich understanding of diverse cultures and the unique needs of children from various backgrounds. I have a comprehensive range of babysitting experience, caring for children from early infancy to 14 years of age. My background also includes working in after-school clubs, where I not only supervised activities but also planned and implemented lesson plans for various subjects. My teaching experience extends to working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children, where I provided both educational and emotional support. My approach to childcare emphasises calm communication and supporting each child's individual emotional needs. I am known for my kind, maternal nature and genuine caring attitude. Now, I am looking for a family to join long-term, where I can apply my skills and continue to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
