About Me
Hi I’m a qualified teacher with 29 years experience, and very recently a headmistress of 4 years. In 2024 I moved out of the school setting to help individuals. I’m available for home tutoring or online tuition, for children from Year 1 to Year 7 in all areas, specialising in English skills, maths and 11+ entrance exams preparation. I am also available for adults needing help with English. I have just launched 2 cost-effective Primary age group sessions, in MK and Northampton.
My Experience
With 29 years in primary teaching and leadership at all levels, in many different schools, I know how to get great results from pupils of all ages and abilities, strengths and needs. I have a kind and open manner, and use warmth and humour to encourage the best in people, to gain the outcomes they need.
I offer a free get to know you meeting, with no obligation so that you can see if I will be the help you need. Availablity after school, evenings and Saturday mornings.

My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons from Leicester University, PGCE from Northampton. I have led and undertaken many training sessions for educators. I have enhanced DBS certification and safeguarding and child protection training. For the past 4 years I have been headmistress of a private school and nursery.
My Availability
From September 2024, I am available for one to one private tuition before and after school, weekend mornings, and weekday evenings. I will also be available to thse not in school, on weekdays between 9 and 3.30pm
Northampton primary group session is 5.00pm on a Friday, MK group session is 5.30pm on a Tuesday. Please get in touch to arrange the best time for you.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
£45 one to one at your home, £40 at our house, or £35 online for an individual session of one hour.
I am able to teach groups of 2 to 5 pupils at a discounted rate of £15 per session, and offer a sibling discount. Please call or email/message me.
