Professional Danish Nanny with a bachelor degree in Social Education. Bi-lingual, fluent in English. Been working in London as a Nanny for more than 20 years. I love what I do and I’m very passionate and take great pride in my job. I’m happy, confident, a Team-player, pro-active, kind, positive, full of humour and banter, sporty, have a big heart, empathetic, loyal, blunt, commited, respectful, curious and intrigued about people, big on manners and values and morals and I want to see my kids thrive and become the best version of themselves. I'm calm and patient and have an excellent understanding of children's needs and development. I want to become part of the family team and share the same morals and values as you (parents) and work as a team. I've played football since I was 4 and still love it. I'm also a qualified Personal trainer and being fit and healthy is key to a great mindset. Music makes me happy - pure medicine for the soul :-) I play the guitar and I'm a keen rollerblader. I've travelled Asia with a backpack and loved every minute of it - experiencing different cultures. I love colours and sunshine and fresh air and beers and my family and friends and being creative. I take initiative and want to inspire along with being hungry and open to learn from others. I always encourage my little ones to use their imagination and think outside the box. I'm a twin and come from a family of 6 kids (me and my twin being the oldest), so I'm use to getting stuck in and being a teamplayer and appreciate and be grateful for the little things in life. I'm big on kindness and how powerful it is, and I want my kids to understand the importance of this along with being cool, confident, independent, self-aware, brave, determined, active, emotional clever, positive, empathetic and happy little people growing up with all the right tools to take on life :-)
My Experience
Long term nanny for every family I find and I'm still in touch with all my families going back 20 years. I feel priviliged to have such strong bonds with my previous families and I adore the kids and feel so proud seeing them grow up and into these amazing little individuals. They see me as a big sister and rolemodel and I feel so blessed and proud to be part of their life journey and part of the family. I form strong connections with parents and I see this as a very important factor. To be on the same wavelenght, have mutual respect, communicate in a positive constructive way, trusting I will support and always have the best interest of your child/children and give me space to do exactly this.
I invest and dedicate myself to a family 10000%. I take pride in guiding and supporting and loving your kids and understanding and embracing their individuality and skills and talents and build on this. I believe I have a positive attitude and mindset to life and this reflects on my nannying. I'm confident, happy, determined, driven, ambitious, yet humble, kind and emotional intelligent.
I’m active myself and believe kids should be too. I’m sporty and positive and creative and kind and strict when needed. I believe kids are like sponges and teaching and guiding them and giving them the right tools to become confident little humans from early on is key to a happy child ready to take on the World.
