My Summary

My Experience

I have been working as a private tutor, online and in-person, since 2018. I have experience teaching English, Maths, History and Spanish and have built up around 1000 hours of tutoring over the years. I worked as an au pair in Spain, looking after two children aged 4 and 6. I au paired for two summers (2018 and 2019) with the same family, whom I'm still in contact and visit whenever I'm back in Madrid. I spoke Spanish with the family, becoming a fluent Spanish speaker by the end of the summer. I also worked as a teaching assistant in a secondary school working with SEN pupils in 2023. This year, I ran after school clubs in a primary school, supporting students aged 4-10.

My Qualifications

I have GCSEs and A Levels, nearly all As and A*s. I studied a BA in History at Cambridge and got a first class degree. I also have a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

My Availability

I do tutoring and work in a cafe part time but I generally have a lot of availability at the moment because I've just moved back to Cambridge after a period of not working so I'm building up my students. I can do mornings, afterschool and evenings, and happy to work overnight as well.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £24.00 per hour

I also offer packages of tutoring where I design a bespoke course of lessons and you make one large bulk payment and it's a lower rate per lesson (£20).
