About Me
Hi! I’m Lola, a second year university student originally from Hertfordshire. Since working with children consistently from the age of 16 I developed a love for creating engaging and enjoyable environments for children to thrive in. Whether that’s baking, arts and crafts or enjoying the nature Edinburgh has to offer I love creating enjoyable activities to suit your child’s needs.
Since working as a teaching assistant I’ve gained valuable experience supporting children both academically and emotionally, becoming a trusted adult for them to turn too. I have also had some experience working with children requiring additional support.
I am currently a university student with a lot of flexibility looking for some ad hoc work in the mornings and after school as well as evenings. I live in the Marchmont area and would ideally like work within walking distance. I will be able to begin work from September 9th:)
My Experience
I have worked as a teaching assistant in a junior school (ages 7-11). This involved working with children individually, within small groups and as part of the whole class performing both academic and recreational tasks. I have also had experience assisting dance classes for those aged 3-6 as well as some as hoc evening babysitting.
My Qualifications
I have 3 A levels and am going into my second year at the university of Edinburgh studying geography. I am also DBS checked.
My Availability
I will be available to do after school hours into the evening just depending on the day and my university timetable as well as mornings
