About Me
I'm Carly, a dedicated and experienced KS1 teacher with a passion for fostering a love of learning in young children. I've spent the last few years working at an outstanding school in Kensington, where I've gained extensive experience with a diverse range of students, including adopted children and those with additional needs. I'm well-versed in all aspects of the KS1 curriculum, ensuring children receive comprehensive, tailored support.
Specializing in KS1, I have expertise in various phonics schemes, allowing me to adapt my teaching methods to suit your child’s individual needs. Whether it's building a strong foundation in reading and writing or enhancing their skills in numeracy, literacy, or handwriting, I aim to build confidence and help children feel supported.
I’m based in Islington and offer both in-person and online tutoring sessions. In addition to tutoring, I'm also available for ad-hoc childcare in the evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

I have lots of experience with a range of SEN learners, particularly ASC and DLD.

Primary school teacher with QTS.
Specialist in Phonics, science lead and early maths. Undergraduate degree in Psychology.
My Availability
I am able to be flexible on the weekends.
I currently have students throughout the week so my availability will depend on location on weekdays. Evening sessions can start at 7 or 7:30pm.
