About Me
I am setting up my own childminding services from my home in Ascot. I am waiting for Ofsted to come and do their initial inspection so I can fully register within the next 4 weeks. I have converted a large space in my home into a wonderful, safe, fun learning environment. I’m based just behind the racecourse in Ascot and have a lovely child friendly garden with its own mud kitchen!
I am a fully qualified EYFS teacher and previous Deputy Head of an SEN school with over 22 years would in education and specialist in Autism. I have decided to take a break from the stressful pace of leadership in Education but want to continue working with young children as this is where my skill sets and passion lie so I’ve taken the plunge to have a go at it from home!
My Experience
Very experienced qualified teacher who has previously run departments in a school as a Deputy Head of the Primary and EYFS departments. I was also a preschool room leader in a local nursery and supported parents and children as the SENCO.
I am a mum to a 13 year old who also goes to a local school and have lived in the Ascot area most of my life.
My Qualifications
Qualified Teacher for over 14 years with a degree in Early years and Primary Education and a BA hons degree in English Lit.
Numerous qualifications in Autism and supporting Child behaviours( have worked in the SEN sector for 15 years)
Fully trained to support/ teach the RWI reading scheme.
First aid training qualification valid until 2026( St John’s Ambulance)
DSL training and all necessary safeguarding training needed.
Full DBS
Full drivers license and cars seats avaliable.
My Availability
Will be registered with Ofsted by February Half term so please get in touch if you would like to come and have a look around and secure a place for your child.
Spaces for children from 18months old - 5 yrs Available Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)
Fees to be discussed in interview but range between £13.50-£18 an hour depending on number of children(siblings) and driving distance to and from school
