My name is Claudia Buck. I am 21 years old and have recently graduated from Newcastle University with a 2:1 BA (Honours) in Sociology. I have lived in Fulham my whole life. I attended Thomas’s Fulham and Thomas’s Clapham, before joining Bradfield College, a boarding school in Berkshire. For my A-levels, I studied Business Studies, English and Film and received AAB. My hobbies include cooking, filmmaking, fashion, hockey, football and running. I have represented multiple counties for hockey and played for the 1XI and both school and university. In the future, I plan to continue my love for film and content creation by working in the world of media production and advertising.
My Experience
I have vast experience working with children, including nannying, tutoring and being a primary school teaching assistant. Nanny for family in London (2019-2021) - Prepared nutritious meals daily, assisting children with homework, managed daily school pickups, provided pet care, including daily walks, and conducted weekly food shopping, efficiently managing household supplies and groceries for a family in London. - Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently. - Knowledgeable in first aid and emergency response. - Completed my Food Allergy and Intolerance Training Certificate Private Tutor for family in Oxfordshire (2020–2021) - Provided "lockdown" tutoring in English, mentoring 5 children between the ages of 7 and 15 - The children needed extra support to catch up on their learning as a result of the school closures during Covid-19. - Planned sessions to target subject weaknesses and reinforce skills. - Also helped with domestic chores, including food preparation, dog-walking and picking up the children from school.
