About Me
Hi there my name is Mandy, I am a kind, reliable, caring energetic and patient individual with a genuine love for children.
I have two grown up children of my own.They both completed University and have successful careers. I also have a very supportive loving husband of 38 years.
The family I’m working with at present are moving out of the area so I am now seeking a part-time, live-out Nanny role with emphasis on wrap around care, morning & afternoon school runs. I look after 3 children age 6, 9 and 12. Both parents are doctors and lead a busy working life.
I quickly built a strong trusting relationship with both the parents and children. I feel this is one of the most important things to do so parents are confident and never have to worry when their children are in my care.
Along with maintaining a clean, safe environment and an enjoyable atmosphere,
I assist with homework,
art & crafts, after school activities and fun days out.
I don't smoke, have my own car, comfortable with pets. My skills include natural nurturing, organised routines, creating a calm fun environment with lots of laughter.
I am First Aid trained including CPR. I have a clear DBS certificate which can be viewed upon request. My past record reflects on my quality of care as I hold excellent references.
My Experience
I was a Project Manager and various other Management roles for a well know food company for 15 years. After I was made redundant i felt I needed a complete new career change and I decided I wanted to care for children. ( I have never worked so hard in all my life!) but I absolutely love it.
I started off working in a local Link Club as part of a team with large groups of children (Up to 75) managing breakfast clubs, after school clubs and summer clubs.
I also have experience
working in a pre school setting.

My Availability
I am available form 7am till 9am with the school drop off then 3pm till 6pm after school care.
My preferred days would be Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays if it suits all!
I can be flexible and I am willing to do a 5 day a week if needed. I can also cover the occasional over night stay or weekends if required.
