About Me

My name is Holly and I live in the Tower Hill area of Kirkby with my partner, two children, aged 5 and 3, a cat and a dog.

I offer a home from home environment with two play spaces where children are free to choose from the variety on offer, as well as an outdoor space with swings, a small trampoline, water play areas and a small area for planting and nature learning in the warmer months.

Saints Peter and Paul Primary School is on our doorstep and we are also near to Ravenscroft and Eastcroft Primary Schools.

Children in my care are offered fun learning activities relevant to their developmental stages, focusing on their individual needs and interests. They are also offered independence in routines such as dressing and eating, where appropriate, including helping to prepare meals and work spaces, and caring for the pets (under appropriate supervision).

Our daily routine includes morning and afternoon movement (inc. walks and park visits, garden time, yoga, dancing and music), shelf work (inc. Fine motor and sensory activities as well as activities aimed at introducing numbers and ohonics), open-ended play (such as Small World and Role Play) and quiet time (including stories, colouring, conversation and sleep for those who need it). We will also do activities such as crafts and baking, as well as visiting the library, throughout the week.
