About Me

I am a primary teacher with over 16 years experience including Class Teacher, Deputy Headteacher and Curriculum Leader roles. I am passionate and knowledgeable about early childhood development and learning through the primary years, and am committed to make learning hands on, concrete and memorable. I am patient and nurturing and firmly believe that the curriculum should be based around the child, meaning I will make many adaptations and work creatively to meet individual needs.
I have two young children and now work flexibly helping families support their own children within a 1:1 or small group setting.

My Experience

I have over 16 years experience of working within primary schools. I have substantial leadership experience working as A Deputy headteacher within a large primary and Curriculum Leader within a federation.

I offer support to help your child:
Get Ready for School. Working with our youngest children in a play based way to support them in their journey to being 'school ready'.
Catch Up. if your child is falling behind at school, I provide booster sessions to support their confidence and attainment in class.
Achieve their full potential: If your child is a higher attainer, I can challenge and support them to reach their full potential.
Make Learning Accessible: I can spend time making learning accessible to any child, particularly children with SEN.

I offer support to the Home Education community through 1:1 or group tutor sessions and follow up activities/ curriculum support.

My Qualifications

I have a First Class BEd Degree, I am DBS checked. I Have been designated safeguarding lead in many of my school positions.
