As a former qualified primary school teacher, experienced nanny and phonics tutor, I bring a wealth of expertise to childcare and education.
My Fine Art degree, allows me to incorporate creativity into every aspect of my work with children.
I offer both experienced childcare services and private play tutoring sessions tailored to each child's needs.
In my care, children are nurtured in a safe environment - enabling them to grow, learn and have fun.
My Experience
I have over ten years experience in childcare and education, starting as a primary school teacher, I then moved in to private childcare. After having my own daughter, I became a self employed Phonics Tutor.
I have looked after other children alongside my daughter - the bond that the children have developed is incredible, they share so much love for each other and have helped each other grow and learn in so many ways.
My Qualifications
Educated to university degree and part masters level, I have a BA Hons in Fine Art and a PGCE with part masters in English with QTS.
First Aid and DBS are up to date and I am qualified to teach mindfulness to children. Recently, I have refreshed my Phonics qualifications and completed local council safeguarding courses.
My Availability
I am available on an adhoc basis with a weeks notice and from October, I will be available all day every Thursday. Ideally, the family will be happy for my to bring my 13 month old daughter with me.
Availability for play tutoring sessions is on Mondays between 4:30 and 5:30 and Tuesdays anytime in the day for pre-schoolers, Tuesday afternoons are currently fully booked. My sessions help children prepare to start school, teaching them the basics of maths a phonics principals and encouraging a love for learning. Each play session is incredibly interactive with taste-safe sensory play to excite learning. My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £20ph with my daughter with me otherwise it is £27ph.
