My Experience

As a baby sitter both within and outside my family, I was responsible for but not limited to taking children to school, giving them baths, preparing light meals , picking them from school, helping with homework as well as putting the children to bed. In these roles I averaged 20 hours a week 2008 to 2017

As the primary parent in my own home, I was responsible for everything related to caring for my child. And this has no official because as a parent you’re always on the clock.

I have tutored children from ages 8 to 14 in especially in preparation for their end of year examinations and I have reported lots of success. I tutored English, Maths and sometimes Integrated science averaging 10 hours a week. This role was between 2013 and 2016.

My most recent role at a pediatric hospital saw me attending to ill children staring with newborns upto age 17. I worked 40 hours a week in this role as a medical laboratory technologist from 2021 to 2024. This has equipped me with the skills to care for children in a vulnerable state while maintaining professionalism, empathy and good quality of service.

My Qualifications

I have a bachelors degree in biomedical laboratory technology and a care certificate covering all 15 standards.
I have received on the job training for both first aid and CPR.
