About Me
I'm in my mid-30s, married with one little boy, Henry. At the time of writing he's 17 months old.
Henry is a fiercely independent and curious kid, desperate to learn and communicate and loves being outside to point where he gets cabin fever. We've been told he's unusually forward for his age, which makes us very proud. He has the most beautiful red hair.
I'm currently a part-time marketing manager, and am a fusion belly dancer in my spare time (what little I have of it!). My husband is a personal trainer, with a particular interest in running, and those in rehab following injury/surgery/a break from exercise. We're both metal heads and nerds!
I don't have a particular parenting method, but I take a lot of inspiration from Montessori, encouraging independence, compassion and good manners. He's still very young, we're still on the journey!
My Requirements
Currently Henry goes to nursery on Mondays and Fridays at Polam Independent School in Bedford. My husband works long hours with clients, and I currently work part-time. I would like to increase that to "almost full time", so we're looking for a childminder for an additional 2 days a week, from between 9am and 5pm, preferably someone who accepts the free 15 hours.
