I am a friendly and enthusiastic face. I have recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics for the University of Nottingham, now living in Cambridge. Although being a mathematics graduate, I am creative enjoying acrylic/ oil painting in my spare time. I work hard and enjoy working with children. I believe in encouraging curiosity and the Reggio Emilia Approach to child development.
My Experience
For the last 4 years I have working as a Rock-Climbing Instructor, working a lot with children and families. During this time I am solely responsible for the wellbeing, entertainment and teaching of these children, ranging in age from 2-17. As part of this I also travel to schools across the country to take rock-climbing to them! This also includes multiple SEN schools I have working with. I have tutored younger students in mathematics and volunteered with a GirlGuiding Rainbows group, which is girls between the ages of 4-7. During my degree, I completed a research project on methods of child education types and a statistical analysis of how children best learn mathematics.
My Qualifications
I have an advanced certificate DBS and First Aid Certificate.
My Availability
I am available mornings-evenings, Monday-Friday.
