About Me
I am a qualified and highly experienced primary school teacher and Maths and English tutor for primary aged-children. I specialise in raising children’s academic confidence and consolidating fundamental English and Maths skills. I offer mainly online sessions via Zoom (with some additional limited face-to-face availability in the Wirral area) and can work with children 1:1 as well as in pairs or groups. I am experienced supporting children in home-educating families during normal school hours, as well as tutoring after school for pupils in full time school.
My Experience
- Fourteen years primary classroom teaching experience in a variety of schools
- Experience of supporting children with a range of SEND needs
- Experience preparing pupils for KS1 and KS2 SATs, Year 1 Phonics Screening and Year 4 Times Tables check
- Previously undertaken English and Reading leadership roles in schools
- Maths and English tutoring experience both privately and in schools (1:1 and groups)
- ESL teaching experience
- DBS check registered on the update service
There will be no pressure or obligation to commit to long blocks of sessions. I am very happy to discuss your child's needs and how I can help support them :)

My Availability
I currently have availability on Mondays and Wednesdays. I can offer sessions within normal school hours for home or flexi educated children. I also have some limited after-school slots available.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
Online 1:1 (50 minutes)
£25 per lesson up to 3pm
£30 per lesson after 3pm
Face-to-face (1 hour)
£35 per lesson up to 3pm
£40 per lesson after 3pm
Paired, sibling and group prices lessons also available for reduced prices.
