My names Milly, i’m 21 and a University student studying psychology. I have worked in childcare for 2 years, looking after children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy and with special needs such as autism. I am a kind, gentle and patient person and I love working with children, I am first aid trained, worked with young children from age 3 and children aged 16.
My Experience
I have looked after a young boy privately with cerebral palsy, I was responsible for personal care, driving him for activities like the cinema, assisting with eating/drinking. I have worked with children with Autism, leaning their triggers, likes and dislikes to give person centred care and ensure I was meeting their needs. I have looked after children ages 3-16.
My Qualifications
I have a care qualification, first aid and life support qualifications, food and nutrition qualifications. I have a higher certificate in Psychology as i’m still completing my bachelors.
