About Me
My wife (Cami) and I are Americans settled in Glasgow with our 3.5 year old daughter (Adelaide) and 9 month old son (Simon), both of whom were born here in Scotland. I work from home for an American company and my wife is currently a full time mother. All of our other family still lives in the USA.
My Requirements
Ideally, we would like someone who could help take care of the children from 4-8pm while Cami cooks dinner or tend to their needs. We would also like someone who can help with baths and putting the children to bed as needed.
If possible on Saturdays, my spouse and I both have morning commitments from 9-12 that we would like to attend. If possible would be great to have help during that time.
About our daughter - she is being evaluated for autism and/or ADHD so someone who has some understanding on neurodivergence is a plus. (I am AuDHD) Addie does well at nursery/socially but can have challenges at home.
About you - looking for someone who isn’t daunted by neurodivergence. Someone who is able to anticipate household/childrens needs is helpful. If occasionally light housework (picking up toys for ex.) or cooking is needed you wouldn’t be put off by that.
Speaking another language is a plus but NOT necessary. We would love to expose our children to learning other languages.
Overall, someone who is warm and engaging. Our children respond well to humour and smiles so a warm manner is very important!
