Hello, my name is Kathy. I have just recently registered as a fully qualified childminder and I am so excited to start my journey and to have created a warm and inviting space for your children to explore, learn and make lasting friendships. I do have previous experience as an ofsted registered childminder back from when I lived in London and started to raise a family. I have three children, aged 30, 25 and 17. We have 2 very friendly dogs named Lola and Duke and 2 guinea pigs named Boris and Bruno. They are all very used to being around children as I also have 2 grandchildren, aged 8 and 11.
My Experience
My setting offers a warm home from home environment. Each day is full of fun-filled activities that spark children’s imaginations whilst supporting their development. I am very lucky to live so close to parks, beaches, woods etc. We take regular outings to all of these locations. I like to spend lots of time outdoors, even in the rain, as there are so many learning opportunities for children outside of the home.
Messy play is a firm favourite in my home and I encourage parents to bring old clothing for children so they can take full advantage of this.

My Availability
8am-6pm Monday to Friday
I offer school pick up/drop offs from- Northfield Primary School, Poplars Primary School and St Margaret’s Primary School
I can also offer out of hours from 7am

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I also accept local authority funding.
Standard rate £6.00 per hour including snacks
I can provide meals for a very small charge
