My Requirements

The role is low-stress and would suit a nanny who enjoys working with older children. Much of the role is pick ups and drop offs with downtime while waiting for the kids.

I will be at home most evenings so generally you will look after one or two of the children and manage the activities while I look after the others.

Nannying duties are for after school care, approximately 25-35 hours per week. This includes some general housekeeping and some light cooking for the kids.

Every weekday after school you will be responsible for the children from approx. 3pm – 9pm. This will start with school pick-ups from two schools in the town and then either return home or take them to their swimming training or other activities. All the children are keen swimmers and train a few nights per week in Gloucester. You will take them to the venue and remain onsite as their responsible adult while they train, then bring them home afterwards. Dinner is usually a packed meal prepared earlier. If there are no evening activities then it will be spending time at home with the kids, including preparing a light dinner. The children are bright and personable and will enjoy developing a relationship with you.

I can offer a further 5 hours per week of housekeeping. This will include cleaning the family home, doing some laundry, and preparing the children’s meals.
