About Me

Dear family,?my name is Glenda and I'm 23 years old.?I was born in Italy and I live in Livorno, a seaside city near Pisa with my mum, dad and my brother, Gioele. We are a very close family.?My family are very supportive of my application to be an au pair, they always encourage me to have ambition and?goals and they do their best to assist me. I come from a large family: I was always surrounded by children. I have been looking after children of all ages since I was about 14 years old when I started looking after my cousins and family members. At parties and at family gatherings, I always take care of the children playing, watching cartoons, making braids with girls, reading fairy tales or simply organizing group games. I had a wonderful childhood?and I know how important it is to live in a happy, safe and stimulating family.?In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the beach, going for picnics and socializing with friends. I would describe myself as caring, polite, responsible, independent and friendly always with a big smile. For?about 10 years I practiced all kinds of dance especially ballet and tip tap.?I have been attending university since 2020 and will graduate in labour and public administration law in February.?I also have babysitting experiences with other children: since September 2023 I have been taking care of Andrea and Iacopo who are 4 and 6 years old. I look after them 3 times a week for about 4 hours each day. I feed them, read books, play in the park and put them to bed.?Last year I looked after a lovely one year old baby boy called Giorgio. I babysat him for 4 months Monday to Friday? and I handled all the tasks related to infant care: I changed his diaper, fed him, put him to bed, played, danced, drew, read books...?I have a good level of English.?Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.?Best regards, ?Glenda
