About Me
I’m a registered childminder and provided a nurturing, one to one, caring environment for children in my own home. I also provide snacks, lunches, playgroups, days out to soft play etc, library visits and educational activities. I have three children of my own and I absolutely love working with children and thrive to meet their individual needs. Every activity and focus we do is always child led and I always work hard to extend their interests and learning. Every child I have has their own learning journal were I document all their learning and photographic evidence in what there doing in each day. This book will leave with the children when they move on. I have a business page on facebook called little chicken childminding services if anyone would like to see and insight into our day to day at little chickens. ?
My Experience
I’m a qualified Early Years Educator and have worked with Dundee City Council for ten years. I am fully trained in paediatric first aid and have my food and hygiene certificate. I have also been on numerous courses throughout my time with the council including chatter tots, teaching children to listen and art at the start. I also ran stay and play sessions with children and their parents which I thoroughly enjoyed.
