About Me
Hello! I'm a senior teacher (current Early Years and Key Stage One Leader), with 15 years of experience working in primary school settings. I am based in Great Ashby Stevenage. When I am not working in school 3 days a week, I am currently offering ad-hoc nannying services or home-school teaching in the Stevenage and North Herts area for Tuesdays and Wednesdays term time and any day during school holidays.
I provide nurturing care with the benefit of my extensive experience in early years and KS1 education. Whilst my primary focus is on providing flexible, ad-hoc support for your family's needs, I'm happy to incorporate educational elements into our day or provide more focused tutoring tasks as part of my care. Whether you need occasional childcare or more regular support, I aim to offer a service that fits your requirements.
Being a working mum, I fully appreciate how tough it can be to leave your children with a new person and so I strive to ensure all children (and parents) feel safe and secure with the care that I provide. I'm available to meet beforehand to discuss your needs over a coffee.
I have just renewed my full first aid certification in September 2024 as part of my school role and I also hold a full DBS check. I am also a mum of my own two children, aged 1.5 and 3 who will be happy to accompany me. If you have any questions at all, please do get in touch to discuss!
