About Me
I am a speech and language therapist (have been for 10 years) in the process of registering to become an Ofsted childminder so that I can raise my son whilst being part of another wonderful family. This is almost complete! It is my hope that my youngest and your child can grow up together and be the bestest of friends.
I have 3 gorgeous boys; 2 tummy babies aged (4 and 1) and a lovely step son (16) who I have raised since he was little.
I am a qualified doula as well, so nurturing and supporting families is very much at the heart of me.
In my free time I love to create! I used to run a little clothes business where I handmade clothes for children. I also love cooking, being in nature and exploring new adventures.
My Experience
Before qualifying as a speech therapist. I used to nanny for a politicians 4 children (twins
8, 7 and 5). I worked 12 hours a day for them, and even flew them around the world when required!Following this, for 6 months I was solely responsible for 2 girls ages 3 and 5 whilst their single mother was in Afghanistan in the armed forces.
During my studies, in the holidays I looked after a little girl (6) for 4 years. We keep in touch regularly and I am so proud of the wonderful young lady she is now, achieving her dreams of performing in the West End.
My Qualifications
I have a 2.1 in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Manchester. My degree as a speech therapist was mostly around child development.
I have a DBS check and paediatric first aid trained.
I am also a qualified doula so supporting women and their families is very important to me.
