About Me
I am an environmental science student at the university of Nottingham looking for a part time job to support my degree. I have experience in tutoring and childcare and enjoy being a positive role model for children of all ages.
My Experience
I have worked as bank staff at my local nursery during my holidays for 2 years, therefore having experience with children from ages 18months-5 years. I have babysitted and petsitted for many families local to me and can cook, clean and provide homework help, having achieved A* A* A in my alevels and an A* in gcse english as well as an 8 in GCSE maths. I have also tutored online for children sitting SAT and 11+ examinations as well as informally tutoring GCSE English, biology and geography.
My Qualifications
As part of my job at the nursery I have done NDNA (National Daycare and Nursery Association) courses in food hygiene and safety, safeguarding and early years education. I achieved A* A* A at alevel in geography, english and biology as well as an A* in EPQ. I also achieved two A*s, four 9s, three 8s and one 7 at gcse. I have tutored SAT and 11+ content online and would feel very confident tutoring GCSE AQA geography, CIE english and edexcel and AQA biology.
My Availability
I am currently available every weekday from 2pm at the latest and have a fairly flexible university schedule. However, lecture slots my change on a termly basis and I will be returning home during the school holidays so will only be able to assist virtually via zoom or facetime during these periods.
