My Experience

After previously volunteering with themselves I was offered a job as a junior play leader at a child care centre. I have worked with Moore’s Childcare Services for around three years now.
Here I undergo frequent training regarding safeguarding, FMG, food hygiene, and also have a valid DBS from working with them.
This vacancy has allowed me to participate in many opportunities, and a range of my professional and personal skills and experience continue to be utilised.
My job roles and responsibilities include:
• looking after children from the ages of 4-11, ensuring a safe environment is created and maintained
• promoting their development in all areas (including physical, intellectual, social and emotional)
• ensure food hygiene is upheld
• collect students from different schools and safely bring them to the centre
• work collaboratively with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals
• prepare and give out food and drinks to all children in relation to food hygiene recommendations and their dietary requirements.

My Qualifications

Currently studying at University
Degree in - Working with Children, Young People, and Families.
Completing modules that include safeguarding, effective collaboration, social justice and inclusion, foundations of social work, education and health, and more.

•Babysitting duties
•Light tidy up around house if needed (washing machine, dryer, hoover ect)
•Happy to look after pets too (toilet, feed, small walk)
