About Me
Hi there! I'm Katie and I am 21 years old. I recently earned my degree in Education Studies from the University of winchester, and I am currently working towards completing my teacher training. I have lots of experience working with infants and toddlers within nursery and primary school settings. I love to draw, paint and bake lots of sweet treats and I really enjoy being outdoors and activities such as forest school. I truly love working with children, and I apporach every child as an individual who I get to help grow and learn.
Nothing makes me happier than running into someone I used to teach or care for and remembering all the fun times that we had together. I'm available on weekends all day and overnight if needed and I can also work in the evenings after University. I can provide references upon request.
My Experience
I have spent the last 5 years working in different nursery settings with children between the ages of 4 months and 5 years, part of this being placement which helped me to gain my status as an early years practitioner, and the other part as my job alongside University. Alongside this experience, I have also spent time in primary schools, working for an after-school club and being in the classroom, teaching some of the lessons.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 in Children's Play, Learning and Development and I am a fully qualified Early Years Practioner.
I also have an Undergraduate degree in BA(Hons) Education Studies.
My Availability
I am a student at the University of Winchester so I do have lectures from 8am to 4pm, but i am available to baby sit in the evenings, after school and weekends any time.
