About Me
I’m a 39 year old Mum with two Daughters. My eldest is 10 and youngest is 5. I’ve been self employed for the last 11 years which has given me the opportunity to be available for the girls as much as possible. Like the majority of parents, my Husband and I find ourselves running around after the girls Mon-Fri with school runs and hobbies and then we like to keep our weekends free to enjoy family time.
My Requirements
My youngest Daughter has just turned 5 (24th August) and is in Yr1. I’m finding she’s really struggling with the transition from Reception and after speaking with her teacher, it seems she’s in the lower 20% of the class when it comes to her reading, phonics and maths. My Daughter is such a happy, kind hearted little girl but I feel over the last month she’s really gone into herself and isn’t enjoying school as much. We try and do as much as we can with her but she has a very short attention span and just switches off from us. I’m hoping, with some extra tuition from a professional, we’re able to get her where she needs to be academically and emotionally.
