My Experience
Dear family I'm a 46 years old Italian, I live in London with my husband, I relocated back in September after spending 12 years in Italy. Im currently working as a SEN teaching assistant and teacher in different special schools in London and doing occasional evening baby sitting. I work mainly with children with ASD. Before moving back to London I was a primary school teacher in mainstream Italian schools. Before that, I had been teaching English as a foreign language in schools (nursery, primary, secondary, language schools) and online. Although I don't have years of sole charge experience I’d be happy to look after children and babies. I have been looking after my 5 years old nephew since he was born. In 2005 I worked as evening babysitter for an Italian family with 2 young children (written reference available). Years ago while at Uni I worked as sole charge nanny for several families. I genuinely care about children and have a hands on and flexible approach. I’ve worked with children with special needs for several years. I’m a patient, affectionate and kind educator. I have extensive knowledge of children developmental needs (Italian Degree in Education). Languages spoken: Italian, English, French, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese. I'm looking for an hospitable family who require practical and flexible help with their little ones & pets. Ideally 3/4 days out of 7. Enhances DBS check and overseas police check available. Jess was very punctual and on time. Her communication before meeting us was also very clear and precise. Indicating she is very trustworthy which appeared to be correct once you meet her.
Our daughter Sophia-Renée liked Jess a lot. Jess fed her, played with her and put her asleep all very conveniently. The place was super clean when we got home so she even had taken the time to do the dishes.
The day after babysitting Sophia-Renée was saying how much she liked Jess and was still asking questions about where she was now and that she wanted to play with her again.
We would definitely recommend Jess to anybody.’
