About Me
I am a 37 year old loving mum and wife. I work part time as a physiotherapist. I am looking for a nanny/ babysitting/ mothers help role to start September 2025 on Mondays or Thursdays or both if required - there is some negotiation around this. I could start sooner with discussions and some flexibility. With this role I would have my son who starts school in reception September 2025.
With this role I offer I would need to drop my son off at school between 8-8:30 in Wakefield and collect around 3:30. I would happily also take the child I am looking after but I would be bringing my son with me when he’s not at school and also in school holidays. He is a lovely, bubbly, friendly and clever little boy who would happily join in any activities I did with my nanny/ babysitting child.
With having my own child who I enjoyed taking out to many clubs and activities I am familiar with those in the area and would be more than happy to take the child I am looking after during the day. I have my own car and a clean full driving license and I have a forward or rear facing car seat I can use from birth to 4 years.
Having my own child has certainly it taught me how precious they are and something you really don’t understand until you are a parent yourself. You can be assured that I will care for your child like my own.
My Experience
On leaving school I gained a BTEC National Diploma in early years and worked in a nursery as a nursery nurse for several years working with children from 12 weeks to 4 years. Alongside this role I took on a nanny role for a lovely family doing before and after school care. As the children grew older I also worked for another family whose children were both pre school age. After several years in childcare I carried out a degree in physio therapy and gained a 1st class honours degree and have worked as a physiotherapist ever since including some work in paediatrics.
In 2020 we welcomed our little boy in to the world so I also have newborn experience with my own and I have brought up our precious son who will start reception in September 2025.

My Availability
From 7:30am with my son and doing school drop off or 8:45 after school drop off
8:45 until 15:00 just me and your child
15:30-18:00 doing school collection and with my son
I am available from September 2025 on the above but can discuss starting sooner. Needs to be close to Wakefield (Horbury/ Thornes/ Wrenthorpe) as possible due to school location.

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Due to my life experience, qualifications and age I charge £12 an hour when I have my son with me, I charge £15 an hour when I am 1:1 with your child.
